For almost two decades we have grown our Hair-do family into multiple locations across a tri-state area. Working with and training the best stylists in our field to be not only up to date on all the latest trends but also in customer service.
Not only do we provide excellent service we are dedicated to giving back to our community through: supporting local businesses and artists, donating our time and services to local charities, and overall using our business as a force of good. Proud to be certified through Green Circle Salons, meaning we recycle and reuse 95% of our waste.

Kristin’s story with Hair-Do Salon is rooted in a simple truth—they’ve always believed that hair is about more than style, it’s about people. What started as a spark of interest in high school has grown into a career of over a decade, blending precision cutting, textured styles, vivid color, and updos with a genuine love for helping clients feel like their best selves.
Over the years, Kristin partnered with the salon’s owner to make the Daphne location their own, shaping it into a space where creativity and community come together. They’re just as passionate about mentoring apprentices and stylists as they are about serving guests, finding joy in watching others succeed and grow.
Outside the salon, Kristin is a devoted parent and creative spirit who pours the same care and energy into family and everyday life as they do behind the chair.
Ahiah (she/her)
Stylist • Makeup Artist | Marketing Team Lead | @ahiahsnipes | @ahiah.mua
Ahiah’s path into beauty began with a love of makeup, which soon grew into a passion for hair as well. She started her journey with a cosmetology apprenticeship at Sport Clips and went on to expand her artistry with experience in makeup and special effects.
At Hair-Do, Ahiah is drawn to the natural flow of warm tones, lived-in color, creative patterns, and red hair transformations, while also bringing precision to barbering, edgy cuts, and color blocking. She sees each appointment as a collaboration, helping clients translate what they imagine into styles that feel real and wearable.
Outside the salon, Ahiah finds inspiration in earthy, creative pursuits—playing Dungeons & Dragons, learning about local plants, and collecting unique finds—along with her love for costumes and storytelling. Her presence behind the chair is both grounding and creative, giving clients the confidence to feel rooted and radiant.
Caroline (she/they)
Elite Stylist • Education Director | @agathacoffee
Caroline has always seen hair as a way for people to show the world who they really are. After training through an apprenticeship with master stylist Joe Helton, she built a reputation for precision cutting, blonding, grey blending, vivid colors, and custom wig styling.
As Hair-Do’s Education Manager, Caroline loves guiding both clients and apprentices—whether it’s tailoring a look to fit someone’s lifestyle or helping a student gain confidence behind the chair. She brings patience, artistry, and a knack for problem-solving (she’s even the salon’s resident handyman) to everything she does.
Away from the salon, Caroline is a proud cat mom of three, a gamer and creator, and still finds time to design hair and makeup for her high school’s theater department, giving students the same confidence she found on stage.
Madalyn Butler-Collins (she/her)
Stylist • Content Director | @functionallyferal_cos
Madalyn’s work is all about helping people feel fearless in their own skin. She studied at the Aveda Institute for Arts & Sciences, where she sharpened her craft in vivid colors, balayage, blonding, edgy cuts, and updos. On top of her cosmetology training, she also earned a certification in permanent makeup, an achievement that reflects her drive to keep expanding her artistry.
In the salon, she encourages guests to play with bold ideas and try something new, while making sure they always feel comfortable and supported in the process.
Outside of work, Madalyn dives into cosplay, concerts, and music, and finds balance in hiking and backpacking. She’s now working toward offering permanent makeup and tattoo services, continuing her journey of turning creativity into confidence for her clients.
Ryleigh (she/her)
Stylist | @roots_by_ryleigh
Ryleigh first sat in a Hair-Do chair as a client, and it didn’t take long for her to realize she wanted to be part of the team that made her feel so welcome. After earning her cosmetology license from Coastal Alabama and an associate degree in salon and spa business management, she stepped behind the chair herself.
Today, Ryleigh specializes in grey coverage, vivid colors, and extensions, bringing both technical skill and a caring touch to every appointment. She loves helping clients feel confident—whether that means refreshing a signature look or trying something bold and new.
Outside the salon, Ryleigh is usually playing Roblox, treating herself to seafood, and embracing her laid-back, down-to-earth style. Her resilience and positivity shine through in everything she does, shaped by the strength it took to recover from sudden brain surgery right before her 21st birthday. Clients love her for her warmth, skill, and the joy she brings to every visit.
Salina (she/her)
Stylist | @salinascissorhands
Salina originally pursued psychology, but her true passion revealed itself when she found the creativity and connection of hairstyling. She went on to train at Paul Mitchell The School in Louisville, where she developed her skills in barber cuts, precision styles, curly hair, and bold, vivid colors.
At Hair-Do, Salina is known for creating edgy, alternative looks that give clients the confidence to embrace their individuality. She thrives on transforming bold ideas into wearable styles while making every appointment feel welcoming and supportive.
Beyond the salon, Salina pours her creativity into crafting, writing, and making candles—and she fully leans into her love of spooky season, with Halloween as her favorite time of year. Her artistry and unique perspective make her chair a place where self-expression comes alive.
Atlas (they/she)
Apprentice | @star.sparrow_cos
Atlas stepped into their apprenticeship at Hair-Do with a fearless love for color and a drive to learn everything the industry has to offer. They’re especially drawn to vivid shades, block color designs, and bold, creative patterns, seeing each client as a chance to bring a new vision to life.
Atlas thrives on experimentation, balancing a playful spirit with genuine care for making people feel seen and confident. They were drawn to Hair-Do for its inclusive, supportive atmosphere, and they’re building their career on that same foundation of authenticity and expression.
When they’re not in the salon, Atlas can usually be found drawing, crafting, gaming, or hanging out with their cats—always finding new ways to create and connect.
Jay (she/her)
Apprentice | @kirbysnips
Jay is in the early stages of their journey at Hair-Do, but they’ve already brought a bright, curious energy to the salon floor.
As an apprentice, they’re learning everything from washes and treatments to color techniques, with a special love for experimenting with fun colors and bold patterns. Jay was drawn to Hair-Do’s inclusive, creative community and is excited to grow their skills while helping clients feel confident and expressive.
Outside of work, they keep life playful with indie games, roller skating, bowling, and cartoons—and, of course, spending time with their cats. With humor, creativity, and an adventurous spirit, Jay is building a career that promises to be just as unique and colorful as the styles they create.

Jill, aka Jilbo Baggins, is one of our hair traffic controllers! They’re one of the friendly voices you’ll hear when you call our booking line.
They mostly like spending time at home, but has been known to embark on great adventures from time to time!

In 2008, Michelle opened her first salon after nearly walking away from the industry. For years she struggled to find a safe, supportive place to work—often facing bullying and being taken advantage of. When the opportunity came to take over a salon, she knew she wanted to create the kind of space she had always needed: a home for creativity, inclusivity, and self-expression.
Today, they are proud to own and operate four thriving salon locations in Alabama and Georgia. Known for being quirky, alternative, and unapologetically different. Hair-do is a community of stylists who celebrate individuality and believe that hair is a form of empowerment for each person.
